It is with deep sadness we mourn the passing of the late Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, Grand Chief Cathy Merrick. Grand Chief Merrick epitomized the courage and compassion of a strong Ogichidaa Kwe. She was a leader of integrity, dignity, conviction and always met you with a beautiful smile. Her leadership will be greatly missed.
